Before the fight, before the following — the work nobody films. THE ATHLETE is a concept documentary short built around the discipline that happens when no one is watching.
The Approach
Shot in available light with a minimal crew to stay invisible in the room. The edit leans on silence, breath and repetition — the actual texture of training — instead of a highlight-reel score.
